The College is seeking to fill a Regulated Member vacancy on the ACDH Council.
Council serves as the governing body of the College and fulfills specific roles and responsibilities as set out in the Health Professions Act. Council's focus is to set organizational goals and directions for the College, which are implemented at the direction of the Registrar.
Council is comprised of 5 registered dental hygienists and 5 public members.
The College is seeking expressions of interest for a Regulated Member Councillor position for a 3-year term beginning November 2024. The successful candidate must be a Regulated Member of the College in good standing, be available for four 2-day Council meetings per year, and participate in occasional committee meetings. Council members are paid an honorarium for participation in meetings.

- a letter outlining why you are interested in being a Council member and the experience you bring to Council.
If selected, interviews will be held the week of October 21.
The following skills or experience will be considered assets:
- governance/policy experience,
- leadership or board experience,
- dental hygiene practice owner experience,
- business/financial experience,
- experience with rural or remote and/or Indigenous communities.
