Under Bill 21 legislation, which is now incorporated into the HPA, all regulated health professionals must successfully complete training on preventing and addressing sexual abuse and sexual misconduct towards clients.
A mandatory e-Learning course is available to fulfill this requirement. All registrants on the General register as at December 31, 2020 were required to complete this course by that date. Two (2.0) Continuing Competence credit hours have been approved for these registrants.
Beginning in 2021, completion of this course is a condition for registration.
Prior to beginning the course, be prepared to print, screen capture or photograph your completion certificate at the end of the course as you cannot go back later to access.
This course module has been tested on Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge for desktop. If you are using a different, or mobile version of these browsers, you may have issues, including being able to print your certificate.
This course must be completed in one session.
