The Annual Renewal Period is Now Open

Annual Renewal is now open for the 2024 - 2025 Permit Year.
You can complete your Renewal form by clicking the Renewal tab in the Registrant Portal.
Registrants who do not have a complete and approved Renewal application by 11:59 PM (MT) on October 31 will have their practice permit suspended and will not be able to practice dental hygiene as of November 1. This may be considered unprofessional conduct under the Health Professions Act and may be referred to the Complaints Director for further action.
It's important to complete the following steps in the Registrant Portal before beginning your Renewal application:
- Update your contact information.
- Enter Continuing Competence activities.
- Enter your most recent CPR certificate.
- Enter your Professional Liability Insurance for the upcoming permit year.
- Ensure your Practice Hours for previous years within your current reporting period are correct.
- Update your employment, education, and professional registration information.
The Renewal form cannot be saved and must be completed in one sitting. This means that your information in the Registrant Portal must be complete and correct BEFORE you begin the Renewal form. See the checklist on the right-hand side of this page for more details on how to update your information before beginning the Renewal form
Once you have reviewed and updated your information, follow these steps to begin your Renewal application:
- Click on the Renewal tab in the Registrant Portal.
- Review all of the steps listed. Make sure you have any required documents saved, a credit card ready, and pop-up blockers turned off in your browser. Your Renewal form will not be processed by the College until payment has been completed.
- Click on the “Start My Renewal Application” button at the bottom of the tab.
